APA California’s Purpose

APA California’s purpose is to protect access to care for California patients. This is accomplished by uniting and empowering healthcare providers through advocacy, political engagement, and coalition building to influence policies that protect patient access, strengthen provider sustainability, and ensure healthcare decisions reflect the realities of delivering care in California.

Dear APA California Community,

As we begin this exciting new chapter, I am honored to introduce myself as the Executive Director of APA California.

With over 28 years of experience in healthcare leadership, my background includes medical billing and revenue cycle management, insurance contracting, business development, and fundraising. Throughout my career, I've worked closely with healthcare providers and witnessed firsthand the challenges they face in protecting their practices, navigating reimbursement, and ensuring patients have access to quality care.

Advocacy has always been something I'm passionate about, and I am incredibly proud to take on a role where I can combine that passion with my professional experience.

My vision for APA California is simple: Ensure healthcare providers have a seat at the table when decisions are being made that impact their practices, their livelihoods, and their patients. Together, we can build a stronger, more unified voice for providers throughout California.

I am incredibly grateful to both APA and PPC-PAC for their trust, confidence, and support in giving me this opportunity. I look forward to building upon the foundation they've established and working together to make a lasting impact on the future of healthcare in California.
